DO YOU HEAT YOUR HOME WITH WOOD PELLET FUEL?
Yes we do. We’ve been burning wood pellets for many years now. We are constantly working to improve or add to the brands that we carry. So along with burning the wood pellet brands that we carry, we try to burn a few bags of 20-25 other brands each year to see how they compare.

 

DO YOU SELL BAGGED COAL?
Yes we do. We’re proud to carry Blaschak bagged Anthracite coal in Rice and Nut size. Blaschak is mined right here in eastern Pa.

 

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
We do a visual inspection of each and every ton of heating fuel that leaves our warehouse and when they’re delivered to your home.  Although all of our skids are covered with a plastic sleeve, shrink wrapped or both, we highly recommend that you store them inside or under cover to protect them from the weather.  Please do a visual inspection upon receipt of your heating fuel.  If you happen to receive one or more bags of pellets that were damaged or ruined due to moisture prior to receiving them, please contact us within 7 days and we’ll be happy to replace the damaged bags.

WOOD PELLETS
DOES SOFTWOOD BURN FASTER THAN HARDWOOD?
Softwood: The Misunderstood Pellet : Softwood pellets have been getting a bad rap because of incorrect information given to customers. Many people think because it is a softwood that it will burn faster. This is not true. It does burn hotter so you will need to regulate your stove settings then sit back and enjoy the heat! Wood pellets, whether hard or soft have a similar density, therefore will have similar burn times. Softwood pellets will produce a much lighter and fluffier ash and also have the added benefit of clean burning resins that ignite for the higher BTU value.

 

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR SOFTWOOD BRANDS?
They’re all awesome. All of our softwood pellets burn hot and clean compared to just about any other brand that you’ll find in this market. The difference comes down species of saw dust used in production and which one your stove prefers. Please refer to our comparison chart.

 

WHAT IF I RECIEVE DAMAGED WOOD PELLETS?
We stand 100% behind all of the products that we sell. Please keep in mind that some of our wood pellets travel nearly 3,000 miles to get here. So nicked, water damaged and dusty bags / skids do occur on occasion. We do ask that our customers do a visual inspection of their wood pellets within 7 days of pick up or delivery. However, we understand that sometimes water damage isn’t always apparent until the bag is opened. No need to worry. Just send us an email or give us a call and we’ll be happy to makes things right.

 

CAN I PICK UP PELLETS WITHOUT PLACING AN ORDER ONLINE?
Absolutely!! You’re more than welcome to stop by our shop anytime during our open pick up hours. We usually suggest that you place an order or contact us ahead of time, so we can pull your product from inventory and have it ready when you arrive. This helps to expedite your pick up. But is not necessary.

 

HOW MUCH ARE YOUR WOOD PELLETS?
We carry 9 brands of wood pellet fuel by the bag and by the skid. Pricing varies from brand to brand. All of our current inventory and pricing is available on our Store / Order Now page.


DELIVERY
DO YOU DELIVER TO MY AREA?
We currently deliver to all of Bucks, Montgomery, Lehigh, Northampton Counties in Pa, and Hunterdon County in NJ. We occasionally go outside of those counties if we have a large enough order. Please refer to our Delivery Areas page to see if your town is within our delivery range. If you don’t see your town on our list, please contact us to confirm.

 

HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY?

DO YOUR PRICES INCLUDE DELIVERY?
No. Delivery is a separate fee that is calculated at checkout when you enter your zip code.

 

DO YOU DELIVER ALL YEAR AROUND?
No. We begin our Wood Pellet and Bagged Coal deliveries for our annual Spring Sale in early July and typically make our last delivery in late January or early February depending on the number of delivery requests and the weather. Our trucks run 4 or 5 days per week in the summer and fall. Delivery requests tend to slow down in early November, so we reduce the number of trucks in service.

 

HOW DO I PAY CASH FOR DELIVERY?
Simply drop off payment at our shop, or make and check out to Bucks Pellets and send it to the mailing address mentioned above.

 

HOW FAST IS DELIVERY?
Our delivery time frame is typically 1-2 weeks. This depends on the time of year and the number of other deliveries we have in your area. Once you place an order, we appreciate your patience while we map your address and coordinate the logistics of your delivery. We will confirm your delivery date with you prior to delivery. Email is our preferred method of communication so please provide an address on your order that you check daily. If you prefer a phone call or text, please make a note on your order. For the safety of our drivers, we may postpone a delivery due to inclement weather.

STORAGE
IS STORAGE FREE
We offer free storage during our Spring Sale. Otherwise you can store your pellet fuel with us until March 15th, 2017 for a small fee.

CAN I PICK UP MY STORED PELLET FUEL THROUGHOUT THE YEAR?
Absolutely.

 

DO I HAVE TO HAVE MY STORED PELLETS DELIVERED ALL AT ONCE?
No. Please refer to our Storage Page.

 

HOW LONG WILL YOU STORE MY PELLETS?
Pellet fuel, bagged coal, fire logs and Envi blocks that are stored with us must be delivered by the first week of February or picked up by March 15th, 2017.

PICKUP
DO YOU HAVE A FORKLIFT AT PICK UP TO LOAD MY TRUCK?
Yes. We have multiple forklifts available to quickly and safely load your vehicle.

 

I DONT OWN A TRUCK, CAN I MAKE MULTIPLE TRIPS?
Absolutely. We’ll load your vehicle with however many bags that you’re comfortable transporting. And we’ll hold the rest of your order until you return. Please note that a $15 storage fee will be added for any orders that are not picked up within 10 days.

 

HOW MANY BAGS WILL FIT IN MY CAR?
We typically say however many you feel comfortable with. It is highly recommended that you refer to your vehicle’s owner manual to confirm how much weight you vehicle can hold.

 

DO I HAVE TO PLACE AN ORDER ONLINE BEFORE I PICK UP?
No. Online ordering does save you time but is not mandatory.
