We hope everyone is happy, healthy and warm.
This year’s Spring Buy kicks off our 10th year in business! Yes, ten years. Wow, where has the time gone? A decade ago we anxiously ventured into the business world of pellet fuel with a small garage and a box truck. We quickly realized that we weren’t the only ones completely frustrated with the standard process of securing pellet fuel each season. Simplifying that process and providing customers with a variety of premium brands to choose from was our goal. We recently looked back through the orders that we received during our first season in business. It’s reassuring to see so many of those customers are still with us today. And it’s humbling to see how dozens of customers multiplied into hundreds and then thousands over this past decade. We greatly appreciate the support of each and every customer over the years.
(Our original shop in 2014)
So once again it’s time for our annual Spring Buy. It’s great to see more and more wood pellet and coal customers taking advantage of our spring buy. Although it’s not surprising. Besides the basic necessities of food, water and shelter, heating fuel is arguably the next priority for most folks. Once pellet stove owners experience a season or two of shortages, long wait lists and extended delivery times, they begin to look for less stressful options. That’s why our annual spring buy has become so popular. Spring buy customers have access to all of our pellet brands, many of which can’t be found anywhere else in our area. They purchase their fuel at the lowest prices of the upcoming season. Spring buy customers also enjoy the benefits of Free Indoor Storage and their Choice of Delivery Month (July through February). Pickup customers have until March 9th, 2024 to pickup up their order in full. It doesn’t get much more stress free than that.
What to Expect
Most brands will see a discount of some sort. Some better than others. However, a few brands have once again increased in price. This is mostly due to the rise in rail freight costs. As usual, Wood Pellet pricing will increase straight through the upcoming heating season. We have limited inventory available to us for some brands, and very limited inventory for our New Brand Tru-Wood. It is very likely that we will sell out of a few brands before the Wood Pellet Spring Buy ends.
Wood Pellet Fuel Brands
NW Super Spruce – In Stock
Price will be increasing in April.
NW Supreme Douglas Fir – In Stock
Limited supply. These are becoming very seasonal. The last load of Supremes that we received was in September. If you enjoy burning the best of the best, then get them now while they’re still available.
Minute Man Gold Douglas Fir – In Stock
Another outstanding pellet brand that seems to be becoming seasonal in availability. We only received one load of these during this heating season.
Matra White Pine – In Stock
Limited supply. We didn’t receive 15 loads(360 tons) of Matra that we ordered this season. Our once most consistently supplied brand was in and out of stock all season. We expect more of the same this upcoming heating season.
EasyBlaze – In Stock
As usual, will sell very quickly. By far the most popular softwood pellet brand in our market. We don’t receive nearly enough loads of these in season to satisfy the demand.
Hamer’s Hot Ones – In Stock
A hot burning hardwood pellet that’s $35 off per ton in the spring buy!
Barefoot Hardwood 40 lb bags – Are now In Stock. (while supplies last)
Limited supply. As with a few other brands, these are rarely available during the heating season.
Barefoot Easy Lift 23 lb bags – Are now In Stock. (while supplies last)
Limited supply. As with a few other brands, these are rarely available during the heating season.
Tru-Wood – Sold Out for the Spring Buy.
Made from 100% choice hardwood sawdust (hard maple, oak, cherry, walnut) sourced from local Pennsylvania cabinet and flooring companies. Yet another great pellet fuel produced from recycled cabinet and flooring sawdust. Quality, Local and Affordable. Similar to Barefoot and Turman.
Very limited supply.
Coal Customers
Spring pricing for coal will not be available for a few more weeks. So we will have a separate Spring Buy for bagged coal in April. Please contact us to be notified when the coal spring buy begins.

DELIVERY AREAS
To our customers outside of our regular areas of Bucks, Montgomery, Lehigh, Northampton, Pa. and Hunterdon County, NJ.
In an effort to better serve our local customer base, we had to make the difficult decision to limit the extent of our delivery areas. We will no longer be able to deliver to Philadelphia, Glenmoore, Coatesville, Broomall, Glen Mills, Media and Chester Springs. If you don’t have an option for delivery when placing an order on our website, then unfortunately we can no longer offer delivery to your area.
Also some areas will only have the option for delivery in July. Included in the July Only delivery areas are Chester and Delaware County customers that we’ve delivered to in the past including West Chester, Wayne, Berwyn, Paoli, Malvern, Newtown Square, Exton and Downingtown. We apologize to all of our loyal customers in these areas. We wish we could continue to better serve you, but we just don’t have the capability to do so at this time.
GARAGE DELIVERY
Any delivery where our driver places your order inside your garage with a pallet jack or pushes it in with the forklift will be charged as a garage delivery. Customers that would like their order placed inside their garage should select garage delivery at checkout. Our drivers are very much appreciative of tips, but they do not handle payments for delivery services. Thank you for your understanding.
As always, we wish our customers and their families the very best. We greatly appreciate your continued support. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us. – Heather & Joe
